    Now user can enjoy the same interface that are used in some of the prominent applications e.g. Outlook or Lotus Notes. It works the same way as a file cabinet to search the file (record) by label (the key information) and then open the file (click the record) for more details.

1. Can I just purchase one of the modules?

Yes, is 100% modularized. Each module can work perfectly independent of each other. Every module you purchase will come with which allow you to build up your master database.

4. How can this application help and optimize the operation?

is the ideal 'paperless' solution to operation. Its multiple search functions and enhanced desktop environment help the operation to complete their jobs more efficiently. The handy copy function allows you to duplicate any transaction in the database to a new transaction e.g. old booking copy to a new booking. Any new reference code e.g. city code or port code which is not available in the database can be updated immediately during booking or document preparation.

5. What type of post-sales support services do you offer?

We offers the customer hot-line support, remote modem login and on-site consulting service. Customers can also login to our Support web page to register their issues, download any service pack and explorer our knowledge database 24 hours per day.

6. What's the plan to move into Internet commerce?

At the moment, had a module called , which includes eBooking and eBooking& Trace. These modules allow our user's customer to log into internet to do booking, and to track and track the cargo shipment. In future, we foresee more operating activity e.g. preparation of the documents can be done via the internet, as this will enhance the overall operation process flow. Currently, R&D center is working on this new e-business solution which can be fully compliant to and it is temporarily named as eFreight.

7. What is the timeline for the project implementation, if I confirmed the purchase today?

Timeline of project implementation depends on what edition you have purchase, the number of users and the complexity of business requirement. In general, it required only one month to implement standard edition of . Enterprise edition requires two to three months to complete the project. For Developer edition, it may need at least 6 month to one year in order to hand over the system to you.

8. What is system requirements to use eDocument?

We recommends using Windows NT/Windows 2000 server as the eDocument gateway for fax and email. You will need the following component(s) in order to exploit all the functionality of eDocument:

Applications
a) MS Outlook / MS Outlook 2000 (or any MAPI compliant mail server, eg Lotus Notes).
b) MS Shared Fax (or any third party faxing software).

Hardware
a) at least Pentium (with 128MB RAM) for Windows NT and PII (with 256MB RAM) for Windows 2000.
b) an industrial fax modem/card is recommended.

Note: If you purchase the Microsoft's Small Business Server 2000, it'll come with all the applications listed above (MS Outlook 2000 and MS Shared Fax). Give us a call or visit Microsoft's web site for more details.

9. What are the benefits of the eDocument's Shared Fax?

  1. A fax platform that allows you to send and receive faxes from your desktop computer without a local fax device, eliminating additional connections or telephone lines.
  2. Automatically convert graphics to a .tif file format before you fax them.
